Just as Jesus gave special attention to the children throughout the New Testament, Concord United seeks to minister to children of all ages. The purpose of our Nursery and PreK Ministry is to provide a safe, Christian environment, in which children are taught to know, love, and follow Jesus with all their hearts.  All nursery and PreK rooms are supervised by paid staff members and church volunteers who have been trained and certified through our Safe Sanctuary policy.

The Children’s Welcome Desk is located at the west church entrance with a covered entrance.  Children’s Ministry uses a digital check-in system where parents receive exclusive, matching identification tags for each child. Parents will present their tag when picking up their child.  We hope to make our parents feel completely comfortable in letting us care for their children while they attend worship and/or small groups.

Birth through Age 2

Sundays 8:30 am to Noon

Our infants and toddlers are cared for by paid church nursery staff, along with trained volunteer church members.  Children will learn about God’s love for them through storytelling, music, and crafts. We ask that parents/guardians provide a labeled bag with any diapering needs, bottle or sippy cup, and change of clothing.

Age 3 through JrK

Sundays 8:30 am to Noon

Our PreK Ministry uses age appropriate curriculum that engages our preschoolers through stories, crafts, music, and games.  We are a peanut free facility, and we do provide a small  snack during the Sunday school hour (9:50am-10:50am).
